How 'Bout Them Hogs?!

So, how bout that swine flu? Pretty crazy...it's become the running joke in our office but it really is a scary thing! I have some friends that have had to cancel their graduation trips to Mexico =(

Well, it's the last week of class and I am in full-time freak out mode. Seriously. About 50% of our points are all due next Monday including a HUGE paper, presentation, final exam, and final homework. O-M-G. Luckily I really don't have too much going on this weekend so I can dedicate a ton of time to it. I was going to volunteer at Touch-A-Truck, which is a fundraiser our Junior League is doing this Saturday. But after looking at the work load I'll have this weekend, I knew I wouldn't be able to enjoy it because I would be worrying about all the work I have to do, so I let them know I couldn't make it. I sure will miss it though, it's a really fun event! If any of you live in Northwest Arkansas, please come out and support us! Here is some info:

Touch a Truck

Break out your hard hats and get ready for another great time at Touch a Truck 2009! Kids of all ages can climb, discover and explore vehicles of all types including helicopters, construction vehicles, emergency vehicles, motorcycles and big rigs. Kids can build items with the Home Depot crew or talk with SpongeBob Square Pants and Strike with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals too. Attendees can win great prizes including bicycles, a family campsite set and gift certificates. Touch a Truck is Saturday, May 2, from 10a.m. to 2p.m. at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers. Admission is $5/person or $20/family and can be purchased at JuniorLeagueNWA.org, by calling 479.751.7054, or at the gate the day of the event. Proceeds from this event will help fund various projects sponsored by the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas.

I finished reading "The Kite Runner" last week, it was sooooo good! I really want to read the 2nd book "A Thousand Splendid Suns" now. Has anyone read it? I also need to be thinking of a book to take to Italy. I always like to bring a big HUGE book on vacations and just get lost in them! I'm a bit of a book worm =)
I started my big diet for Italy this week! It's going really well and I feel good. Hopefully I'll have time to work out as much as I want to this week, it's going to be a pretty busy one. Tonight I'm going to a Razorback baseball game with Jeff and some of his clients. And Thursday I've got a big Happy Hour/Roast for one of our co-workers who got promoted into a new team. Should be fun!
