Right Around the Corner

Wow, these weeks are flying by! It got super cold this weekend which makes me realize that Christmas is just around the corner. Guess what else is right around the corner? Our ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!! We take them 2 weeks from tomorrow and I'm so excited! I still have to narrow down our outfits but I'm getting very close.

We're going to have 2 outfits, one dressy, one casual. For the dressy outfit, I've narrowed it down to 2 dresses, and I'm going to have Jeff wear his Armani suit he bought in Italy this summer.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. The dress looks way better on than it does in this picture. I wear it more blousy and it looks so cute. And it would go really well with my Valentino shoes that I got in Italy, which would be kind of cool if Jeff and I were both wearing Italy purchases in the dressy picture, right? =)

I love this dress too! The only reason I'm kind of leaning towards the blue one instead is because my photographer said to stay away from busy prints because they kind of take away from faces especially in black and white pictures.

So what do you guys think? Help!

For the casual outfit, I'm thinking jeans and sweaters for both of us. I found this cowl neck sweater at Nordstrom when I was in Dallas last weekend and it looks really good. I got it in a warm orange-ish color though and it looks really good with jeans.

So there you have it...my narrowed down list of engagement picture clothing choices! Now, to figure out all the clothing choices for the wedding....oy!

Holy Catch UP!

Oh my goodness I've been a lazy blogger lately! However, every other part of my life has been extremely busy, so I guess I need to start finding some blog balance.

So to catch you up...

• I finally got over the flu completely after about 12 days. I still have a little bit of a cough and runny nose that won't go away but I'm figuring it's just my sinuses? I couldn't work at all, and trust me, I tried one day and failed miserably. Luckily I had an hour or so a day that I felt "decent" and I made myself do homework when I did. I still fell a little behind, but not too bad.



• We have one more class next week then a take home final the weekend after that for my Accounting class then it's O-V-E-R! I'm not a math person so I'll be mucho happy about that! Then after this next class, I will officially be 1/2 way done with my MBA!!! This is going by so fast thank goodness!



• I have officially scheduled our engagement pictures for October 26!! http://www.brookerobinson.com/


• I've been trying super hard to get back in shape after being sick. It really did a number on my cardio workouts, I'm gasping for air after like 10 minutes. It's slowly but surely improving though, I just have to stay consistent.



• I got a new trainer to work me out for our engagement pictures and the wedding and I LOVE HER!! She is seriously the most amazing trainer ever. She has some fantastic workouts in her head for sure...think Jillian but not mean at all! =)



• We went to the Razorback vs. Texas A&M game last weekend in Dallas and it was sooooo much fun!! The new "Jerry World" is AWESOME! And the $12 margaritas were quite delicious =)

I think that's about it in a few bullet points. Work has been busy too but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I hope everyone is having a great week!

An Amazing Message

Well, I went to work and around noon I was feeling so awful that I drove back home =( I'm so sick of being sick! I'm trying my best to rest up and get back to normal but I'm not a very patient person. It seems like everyone is getting sick now too. I swear I've seen at least 20 Facebook "I'm sick" status updates...scary.

Soooo siiiiick!

I have literally been in bed since Friday night. I have the worst flu I've ever had EVER! I stayed home from work today and I think I have to go to class tonight since I missed last week from being gone on a business trip. I just e-mailed my teacher though so we'll see what she says.

The business trip was awesome though. We had a team meeting at Big Cedar in Branson, Missouri. If you've never been there, I defninitely suggest you go, it's very relaxing and they have some awesome golf courses! I even won $50 for getting closest to the pin!

We had an amazing time and I learned a lot and I just absolutely love my new team!

I know I look like crap in these pictures...I had been golfing all day and apparently I had swine flu and didn't know it...nuff said...

Girl's Night Out Birthday Dinner for Hillary!

Just got back from Hillary's Girl's Night Out Birthday Dinner! It was a really rainy yucky day today so it was awesome to have something fun to look forward to tonight. We had so much fun catching up and giving Hillary fun presents! Oh and the petit fours I got from Rick's Bakery were to die for! I can't decide if I'm tired from the wine or on a sugar rush from the petit four now? Either way, I guess I better hit the hay, night night!

Where Did Tuesday Go?!

Is Tuesday really already gone?! Wow, this 4 day week is flying by! Not that I'm complaining...but actually I kind of am because this week is way to busy to be a short one. Oh well, I'll get through it right?!

I just got done with a quick 30 minute run/stadium stair climb...why you ask? Because I couldn't drag my bootay out of bed this morning for BodyAttack after the 3 day lazy weekend! So after my hair appointment I hit the pavement..

Oh, and I'm missing the first Junior League general meeting of the year because I accidentally scheduled my hair appointment for the same night! =( Oops. I have my committee meeting this Thursday so I'll still be getting some Junior Leagueing out of my system this week!

I'm so excited for tomorrow night, I set up a Girl's Night Out Birthday Dinner at Bordino's for my friend Hillary! 10 of us...so fun! I haven't been to Bordino's in a while so I'll have to think about what I want to get tomorrow and make sure it's gurrrd!

Well, I thought I would say hi since I've been slacking on the blogging lately. I think it's just taken a little while to get used to my new job and more business but now I'm more in the swing of things. Thank you all for all of your sweet comments! You always give me motivation and extra energy when I see them come across my crackberry!

Now I'm on to Accounting homework...tah tah! =)

First Razorback Game of the Year!

We got back from Little Rock yesterday and we had such a fun weekend watching the first Razorback game of the year! Good friends, food, and a great game...can't ask for more! =)

I think we may go to the lake today since it's so gorgeous outside! Then I'm going to have to come home and get grocery shopping, house cleaning, and lawn mowing done because this week is a very busy yet short one!
